Once Upon An Art Life: The Story of Angie Mason

Sometimes the best way to see where you’re going is to look back at where you’ve been. Recently, I had the chance to do just that.

I created a short film presentation called Once Upon an Art Life: A Creative Life in Progress. It’s the story of my creative journey so far, told in a fairytale style.

This film was originally made for the Creative Collective at Scholastic, as part of their Member Spotlight series. In creating it, I found myself retracing the threads of both my professional design work and my personal art life. From early drawings to the projects I’m working on now, it became a way to connect the dots and see the bigger picture of how these moments shape and carry me forward.

I’m grateful to the Creative Collective for giving me the opportunity and space to create this, and I’m excited to finally share it more widely. 💙
